British tank rider

Post by Model Builder 4 »

Thought I'd just add a couple of pics to this new section of a verlinden figure I painted and converted into a tank rider for my firefly as I couldn't find any suitable figures on the market,

Cheers, Lee.

Looks good. Which Verlinden figure did it start out as? There is a terrible shortage of British figures.

Hi ss1947, it started out as the walking para figure, I've added a couple of pics of the work in progress Image

Thanks. Sadly Francois Verlinden has retired and, I understand, rather than sell the company, smashed all his moulds, so there will be no more. I remember seeing his models back in the 70s, when he was just an amateur model makerr.

The US site is down as well. The UK distributor marks the whole range as discontinued.
