Cannot get tank to start

Post by ChieftainMk1 »

I have just upgraded my Heng Long Panther with a Clark T40 from 27 MHz. I am controlling it with a Flysky F6i transmitter / receiver setup. I have followed the TK40 / Flysky setup instructions. When switching on the setup, I get a “whining” sound from the sound box. The headlights on the tank are on and the red LED of the coax mg is illuminated. However I cannot get the engine start to work when following the instructions I have. Consequently, nothing happens when ever I try any other combinations of stick movements. Can anyone advise me as to what I am doing wrong, or not doing correctly? The transmitter is setup for 4 channel PWM. The Clark board is compatible.

OK First Q.
Which TK-40 is it?
S-Bus setup? or 4 channel control?
Also Sounds like you have the MG wire hooked up with the headlights.

Also an can you please provide an image of your clark board with the 8-pin wire connection and the same for the upper hull 8 pin connection. (With the wires connected (So we can check all lines are correct...)

Post detailed pics of your setup and connections. Its easier to spot anomalies that way, if there are any.

: Hello, I do not know if I can help, think you have this (link attached) have you located on your receiver the commands corresponding to the "Joysticks" of the transmitter, personal on a TK 24 and radio MT.T 6 I am connected different than the instructions !!! I'm not a great Clark specialist, but just share my experience when I commissioned my TK 24 where I can have a hard time.
