TK60P help!

Post by Afrikakorps »

Hello gentlemen,
I have just started to install a new Clark TK60p into a king tiger and all was going well until it came to programming my transmitter.

I am using an old (grey) turnigy 9x and turnigy 9X8Cv2 receiver. I use this same combination for my TK20, 22A and 40 boards with no troubles.
However, with the 8 chanel tk60 I cannot work out how to program the mixes. I have tried the 8 chanel and the 6 chanel set up instructions from the clark website, but I cannot select the neutral gear or engine sound settings.

Does anyone have some other suggestions, or can someone with a similar rx and tx combination tell me the chanel/mix setup that they use.

Many thanks

an 8 channel control needs all 8 channels used on the receiver.

These are the TK60 connections
CH1: Steering
CH2: Throttle
CH3: Elevation
CH4: Turret Rotation
CH5: MF Selection Switch
CH6: MF Execution Switch
CH7: Fire Loader's MG/NA
CH8: Fire Cannon/Fire Coax MG

On your TX you need to assign as follows for 8ch.

CH1: Steering (Stick)
CH2: Throttle (Stick)
CH3: Elevation (Stick)
CH4: Turret Rotation (Stick)
CH5: Switch SwB (3 position, indented on FS-i6S)
CH6: Switch SwC (3 position, indented on FS-i6S)
CH7: Switch VrA (3 position, Self-centering on FS-i6S)
CH8: Swicth VrB (3 position, Self-centering on FS-i6S)

Hello Günther,
4-Channel is possible
please take a look at the Clark-Website:
http://www.clark-model.com/eng/prod_rx60/index.html
scroll down to 4-CH Control Mode scheme

You have only connect the four channels to the TK-Board in right order

Thanks for the replies.
I have exhausted most of my options, trying 4,6, and 8 channels.
Everything works except for the neutral gear and engine sound. No track movement.
The seller said to return the board as there could be a fault with it. :/
Also, from what I can see, most people use a FS-i6s transmitter.
Unfortunately I have a Turnigy 9x transmitter.
Cheers

Unfortunately?
This Transmitter is better than a Flysky FS-i6s.
If you are familiar with electronics
you can update the Transmitter to Ersky or OpenTx
and have excellent operating software.

+1 to everything. A 9x is one of the best things anybody can get, once you flash the right software.
The flysky FS i6s is almost toy grade.

I did plug Ch 3+4 from the Receiver to Ch4+5 on the TK60 board, so you can use the second stick to start the engine and switch the gear.
