Re: TK40 reverse issue?
Mine go from the tx:
1>1
2>3
3>2
4>4
The tx is in Mode 1, this gives me Heng Long style controls.
The main gun fire is left stick upper left (this differs from the TK20 series, which is left stick straight up).
Tank sounds start is left stick mid lower right.
Put tank in gear left stick mid lower left.
I had a problem with using a fire button that works on all of my other tanks. Even though I duplicated the settings for Aux controls and assigning them the same way as the TK24, it wouldn't work. In the end I copied across all of the TK24 settings to the KV tank model, and it worked again??

Re: TK40 reverse issue?
The one thing I couldn't see in the video was being in full reverse, and keep going with the stick pushed to lower left or right, does the rear of the tank move the same way as the stick?

Yours goes the right way. Mine goes the wrong way? I will send my video to Clark and see what he says.

Re: TK40 reverse issue?
My T34 is set up as follows.
TK40 4CH Conventional PWM Mode Control Scheme
Turnigy 9x Transmitter with 9x8Cv2 receiver
Transmitter Channel Order RTEA
Channel 1 inverted
Channel 2 inverted
Channel 3 inverted
Channel 4 inverted
Receiver to TK40 Channel Connections
1 - 4
2 - 3
3 - 2
4 - 1
Left Stick Control
Up elevates cannon (requires radio programming)
Down depresses cannon (requires radio programming)
Left rotates turret left
Right rotates turret right
Right Stick Control
Up forward
Down reverse
Left turn left in forward and reverse
Right turn right in forward and reverse
Switch Assignments (requires radio programming)
TRN fires cannon
GEAR fires machinegun
AIL lights on/off
THR engine start/stop
RUD clutch engage/disengage

Re: TK40 reverse issue?
Thanks for the info, I tried your settings, but my tx is in mode 1, so
Right stick
1 = steering
3 = throttle
Left stick
2 = elevation
4 = turret rotation.
I fire the gun on a button at SWD.
Start sounds and gear engagement is left mid lower left and right.
Everything works perfectly, apart from the reverse steering.
I am sure that when I initially installed one board and started the tank, the reverse steering was ok. It was only after I programmed the board to adjust the servo recoil direction, change the hull recoil, and check the other settings, that it went wrong. I also lost all power to the motors until by some unknown combination of IR programming it came back again. I've tried everything that I can think of to sort it, but I am wondering whether there is an undocumented combination of IR programming settings that is affecting the motor drive. I will have to send a video to Clark and see whether he can shed any light on it, but it's all perfectly driveable the way it is now.

Re: TK40 reverse issue?
You have probably done this but I have to ask. Have you tried resetting it to the factory default settings?

Re: TK40 reverse issue?
I tried it, but it didn't have any effect, I'm not sure that it reset anything? The mixer settings on the boards 1 & 3 seem to be both the same, eg super spin in either setting.

Re: TK40 reverse issue?
So have you resolved the issue?? I remember having the same issue in WOT....?? Ha Ha.....they have a setting to reverse the reverse steering direction....
When going in reverse, does the radio channel for steering still go in the same direction as it does in forward? I assume you can look on the LCD screen and see the channel outputs? If so, then its the TK40 for sure. If not, then the mixer is off....
On a side note, when I was installing a hobby radio on my new JS2 V3 taigen mfu, it would turn the the left going backwards when you had the stick back far enough and to the left. But when you got close to neutral, still to the left, the superspin would kick in and the tank would immediately reverse rotation, very irritating.
