Re: 10k volume control
Good morning, John,
I've got one of those on Jacks Late Tiger and it seems fine. Super quiet at one end, earth shaking at the other. Maybe the difference between vehicles is not the board but the speakers used? Are you using the same speaker type on all of these vehicles?
regards,
Painless

Re: 10k volume control
Very good point about the speakers. The pententiometer should be fine. In my experience the Clark board sounds much better when a larger more powerful speaker is used. The sound doesn't distort from the Clark board when the stock pententiometer is used? Have you tried another one just to make sure that one isn't dodgy?
I've had this happen to me with a bad pententiometer.

Re: 10k volume control
Hi chaps, I have swapped speakers over 4ohm and 8ohm and no real difference, tried the new volume pot in my
torro panther which also has a tk24 and again went very quiet, will go through all 5 pots and try them out tomorrow.
regards john.

Re: 10k volume control
Tried all 5 pots today and none of the above works properly, that's what happens when being a cheapskate and
ordering from hong kong
will try and source one from the uk and try that, I assume it is the 10k pot I need for the clark board ?

Re: 10k volume control
Hi carl, it says 10k on the standard pot, these were ordered as 10k but I wonder if they are not, as it says nothing
on them, a shame as they look well made.
