I had a quick look on ebay .com, they also sell on there.

Re: 10k volume control
Just been looking at potentiometers, thinking of installing new ones in my tanks, as a few are set to full volume without a volume control using the twisted wire trick.
Quick question, are linear better then logarithmic, or vice versa? Or is there no difference?

Re: 10k volume control
Linear gives you a straight line proportionality whereas logarithmic gives a greater increase for the same movement at the top end.
I would suggest linear is the way to go.Richard

Many thanks Richard,I always wondered what the difference was.
On a side note, my Clark remote that refused to work properly 2 years ago, is now working as normal...no idea why?

Re: 10k volume control
Are you talking about the TV remote? I have had guys in the club complain that their remotes were not working and when they showed them to me one of the buttons was stuck down just a little enough to cack it. Used a fingernail and popped them back up and worked fine so it might have been that. The button just came back up on it's own or when you ran your finger over it...wibblywobbly wrote:Many thanks Richard,I always wondered what the difference was.
