Thank you Mr lmcq11 for our fifth marvellous submission

And to anyone wondering "a Jeep in a truck competition?" We have been there done that and have historic proof the Jeep was classified as a light truck during WW11, and yes, I too was surprised.

Yes, indeed, the Jeep was classified as a 1/4 ton truck (enough to handle me and six or so RC tanks). In the Red Ball Express the bumpers read TRK over a number. e.g.

TRK

Jhamm,

Nice, huge Kraz! That's some complicated undercarriage there!

Louis,

Another amazing offering of yours! Absolutely stunning SAS Jeep! We'd expect nothing less from you! "Those Who Dare, Win"! :D

Tiger6,

Great White scout car! Always preferred their look to the M16 half track design.

This is going to be fun!

Cheers,
Eric.

That arrangement of markings was only used on rear bumpers, and was not unique to the Redball express. On the front bumper it would still have read TRK-2.

The relevant Army regulation document is here: http://jeepdraw.com/images/AR-850-5.pdf

Its the only decent picture I could find, and thanks to George Bradford's incompetence, its about 1" (not 1 scale inch!) too long which you can't see from this angle :haha: :haha:

Thank you Mr tomhugill for our seventh marvellous submission

Yes Tom, it fits in nicely with this month's theme, but sadly it does not comply with the TOTM rules, you have 9 visual representations, tut tut, come on man, you used to run the TOTM :P :haha:
