September Tiger1 Of The Month now VOTING thread.

Post by Son of a gun-ner »

Yes, it is finally here, Tiger 1 Tuesday.

This month is dedicated to all those popular Tiger 1's.

Which means ONLY Tiger 1's are eligible for this month's TOTM.
Just normal turreted Tiger 1's, no Tiger P's, no Berg, no Sturm, Jagd, paper or otherwise. And no versions I've missed out that may have escaped me. Just turreted Tiger 1's, from early to late, with or without turret boxes of whatever kind were used.

The only Tiger 1's NOT eligible are the ones already in the TOTM Winners Gallery.

Other than that, all the usual rules apply, just a total of 8 visual representations of your model, which can be a mixture of photos and videos, or just one or the other up to a total of eight.

Please reframe from chatting in this thread until the voting has been activated. I'm sure I'll get the ball rolling with some nonsense or other ;)

You can find the dedicated chat thread here.

My Torro late Tiger 1, only the keen eyed will spot the detail. Powered by an Arduino 2560 running the TCB firmware, and Benedini clone sound system.

Lol, after seeing that Wibblywobbly's tiger is almost like mine I decided to participate. What a coincidence, we share camo and markings!

This is my Tiger 1. Started as RC WSN Tiger 1 with cheapo electronics but from time to time I fit an Elmod Fusion Pro Rev. F inside. That board keeps rotating among my tanks.
The radio that controls it is almost handmade by me.
Two working machine guns, flash and recoil.
Homemade battery set with two 18650s li ions.
Zimmerit and battle damage has been hand applied by me, as showed here: https://radindustries.wordpress.com/202 ... /zimmerit/
And of course it has been painted by me, using my own stencils.

Here's my contribution to the tiger vs tiger off! My taigen /heng long early tiger 1 501st schwere abteilung ish Image still needs some work but looks good to me, got a ibu2 inside, 4-1 gears, motors jp480's, lots of scratch built detail like the feifal air filters and convoy light in controversial blue ImageImageImage ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Here's my submission. Its my late war cobbled up rendition of a training Tiger I forced into service to defend Berlin.

Servo recoil and elevation. Clark tk60 board with all the goodies.

Custom metal barrel led flash. Metal exhuasts with tarr smoker.

Asiatam transport tracks, metal crane, taigen upper and customized lower.

Spent many hours over the years modifying this one. ImageImageImageImageImageImageImage[img]//uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202009 ... 77e02f.jpg[

I might as well join in, the more the merrier! :D
Here is my Tiger 141 of sPzAbt 501 in Tunisia. Its got the reversed tow cables, early type feifel air-filters, lowered headlights, different front fenders, squared exhaust shields, no turret escape hatch and a wider turret bin in order to better match the subject vehicle.
