c.rainford73 February. An-Bri hetzer.

Here's my An-Bri hetzer I recently built. I've fitted it with the latest version of the Taigen electronics with sound card fitted. Many scratch built parts and hull reinforcements for the resin kit from Andreas. It has panzer III metal tracks and mato Sherman gearboxes.

c.rainford73 March. SU-152.

Here's my entry for the month of March. Another MichaelC creation. SU-152 servo recoil and flash, opening hatches resin upper castmate, taigen metal lower. Running an IBU2 pro with large speaker tarr smoker. I stripped it down and repainted the tank in an attempt to get away from the typical Russian green.

Here is my Taigen panther. Full metal, 360 degree turret. Recoil and flash. Has an IBU2U with maybach engine sounds. Spent many days painting and weathering this. Absolutely runs excellent. Running speaker system from Maxmekker.

Panzerjaeger66 May. StuG III Auf. F

Against all odds… I´ll pick up the challenge but will give my StuG III Auf. F very little chance against the other fantastic builds.

This is my real scratch build (a current general discussion topic ;) ) StuG III Ausf. F that is a conversion of the later HL Stug III Ausf. G.
It was my first RC tank ever when I started some years ago. Because of that fact, there is no build report available.

Therefore here are some pictures of the build.

Jimster Joint second July. Production Tiger 1.

I’ll throw my hat into the ring as well. Here’s my first rc tank, an initial production Tiger 1 which started out as a Heng Long but is now 95% Taigen. The upper hull is the only remaining HL component. I’ve used detail parts from all the usual vendors from all over the world. The aftermarket supply is amazing as is all the help I’ve received from this forum. I just finished installing a Clark TK-40s board which is controlled by a Flysky FS i6s transmitter. The motors are 390’s with 4:1 steel gears on ball bearings. I’ve omitted my new Tarr smoker to make room for an improved speaker. The sound effect quality deserves a better speaker. The airsoft equipped turret also has barrel recoil. Very cool to watch.
The tank is my attempt at representing one the very first few Tiger 1s to see action while headed toward Leningrad in around Sept. of ‘42 with the newly formed 502nd Heavy Tank Battalion.

pitstain August. Tamiya M1A2 SEP-ish ghetto rig.

I humbly submit my Tamiya M1A2 SEP-ish ghetto rig for consideration.

Built to a "what if" spec of the tank being cobbled together and upgraded in the field in a very ad-hoc fashion.

I see the competition is already quite formidable!
