Tank of the Month February Photo Submission Thread
ITS TANK OF THE MONTH TIME AGAIN
same rules that have been in place since November.
One tank per person per thread, so one vehicle can be posted here, and another piece of armour can be posted in the Video thread.
REMEMBER trucks are welcome too
lets see what you have to show off!!!
the thread will be open until the 7th and then we will vote from the 8th-14th
GOOD LUCK TO ALL

After this months Panther G blew a track in rough country yesterday, 'Maxene' stepped up to fill the Bill. Built and painted by me from one of the first Heng Long Shermans using Tamiya, Taigen and Schumo parts sets. Those heavy load, late war road wheels are courtesy of Sassgrunt along with the corrected rear idlers for use on the MATO metal tracks. Without further gabbering, 'Maxene': Late war M4A3 105mm... S.O.A.G.
I was about to mount MATO road wheels in the HL bogies back when I was doing this build. Lo and Behold tho', a complete set of modified HL road wheels came in the mail from Sassgrunt along with instructions on how to build more ( I did and they are mounted to the Glacis plate ). So yep. those are HL road wheels and bogies. Nowadays, Taigen offers near the same thing.
regards,
Painless
