Another 10/10 build, Louis. It's amazing how much functionality you've managed to cram into the tiny Takom kit. Well done!

Hello Louis!

Very nice model and first class build thread!
With which voltage is the model operated?
What speed controller do you use for the Tamiya motor gearbox?

Regards Michael

Hi, thanks,
The controller is the 35RCTANK.COM MTC2 and ACU units, available on their website.

The battery is a small 2 cell 7.4v Zippy 850. Need to replace the connector.

Hello Louis!
Thank you for the fast reply.
Takom Wiesel and Tamiya Gearbox is ordered.
I forgot, your paintwork is very nice too.

Imcq11, thank you for this incredibly well documented build description. I had ordered the Mk20 version for the same purpose, and this gives me a huge head start.

Hello!
Are there any other successful RC conversions from the Takom kits in the meantime?

Oh, Louis, you have done it again (and again and again). I was just two days ago eyeing up the 35RCTANK.COM Takom conversions, wondering if I could even accomplish such a build and, frankly, wishing I could get more time to dive into one of the 1/16 Takom static kits. I am ever impressed with your work. For those who don't know, here's the link to the RC conversion kits http://www.35rctank.com/

Thanks for the information, I didn't know about this site.
Has anyone built another 1/16-Takom-Wiesel in the meantime?

I'm wondering if this couldn't be rigged for combat. Guessing it could be.
