DUH, of course it is! ;D
1:16 was my scale. Until 'Konan' came into my life... an Armortek 1:6 Tiger 1!
... Now followed by a Panther G, 'Gunther'!

I'm a happy man. 8)

Good evening,
I was asking Igor about one of these some time ago. It really is an awesome tank and a delight to see built! Thank you for showing this to us.
regards,
Painless

At the moment, all work on the project has been completed.

Work on this model began in late 2016. On the forum of my club, the process of creating a model was described. Therefore, in this topic, I will just post a translation from the club's forum.
I'll leave out the off-topic messages.

Let's start!

For a very long time, I have been considering a project to build this car on a 16m scale.

I want to put it up for a little discussion.
Tomorrow I will order a model in 1/35 scale and start creating 3D models for printing.

The tank is very complex inside. Simply, standard elements and solutions do not fit there as in a normal tank.
From the trivial - torsion bars, it is simply impossible to install.

I will make a reservation right away, this is a guaranteed long-term construction. Not because of postponement, but simply because it always takes time (often an incredibly long time) to solve problems.

So, the model came in 1/35 scale from China.

The box arrived a couple of days ago. I didn't write, because I was thinking about whether the project is being implemented or not...

The result of thinking - the tank be!

I've already drawn the rinks and the leading star.

PS not all of the models correctly. Trust but check... I check with photos of the real car, which are not so many.

Work is underway:
I draw a 3D model and work out individual elements in the plastic.

The 3D model is so "heavy" for the computer hardware that it is impossible to work in this form. In addition, the computer can almost not digest a full model of a cart with two tracks... I only took a screenshot and for further work with the model, I had to delete the tracks.

The tracks are worked out and ready for the series.

The rollers are made for two bearings with a diameter of 10 mm on a shaft of 5 mm. The leading sprocket will most likely have a different internal diameter, but the crown will be the same.

Suspension balancer for standard spring HL (the number of turns may be different).
