That impressive trial certainly ticked all the right boxes and your checklist is complete. I must say, I also like the idea of the brake light characteristics. The parameters you've set for the lights, when fully functional, will suggest there's actually a wee trooper driving the thing Congrats.

Thank you Mr Brute for your continued interest, here are a couple of pics of the front transmission door and of the internal steering/ brake boxes so far, the one on the left still needs the bracket and bar part as per the right, these will be the actuators that operate the steering brake for each sprocket, lots more to do but at least they are now coming into shape....at the third attempt ! .

Thank you for your continued interest and nice comments Mr 43rdRecceReg, hopefully if i have managed to post a vid again, of the rear brake and position / running lights working, the position lights run at about 30% of the brake lights brightness as do the front 3mm position lights think it looks ok.

Will these be used because it’s a lot of work for something behind a closed door if not sub. Says the guy thinking of putting engines in the a3 rather than having the wires visible through the grill

Hi Mr Brute.
The simple answer is no they wont, the selector arms and pushrods do move and could be linked to a servo to move as the machine turns but, they are purley decorative and just filling up a big gaping hole when the door is opened up, they have to be removed so i can remove the gearboxes and motors so are not glued in place but just fit snugly in the gap.
When the model is on display at model shows etc i can open up the door and show the insides thats all.

Well just about finished off the steering / brake box, just a couple of cables to add on the actuating levers then finished, it looks a whole lot better than just a big hole when the door is opened and very easy to remove when needed.
