Re: T55 Enigma
With the IBU Pro I needed to fit the sensors for the battle system. I hate the apples that make decent models look like dodgy kids toys so like to hide the parts where they still operate to the standard but are unobtrusive.
Most are mounted in the cupola but the ear one had to be mounted in the rear of the lamp to give a clear field for hits from the rear

Trying to keep wiring to a minimum and as neat as possible
A clear line of fire to the back of the lamp

Re: T55 Enigma
Fitted a levelling device for the barrel it mounts on the elevation servo so the barrel will keep a level position while travelling over rough terrain, its a submaine hydroplane leveller from Subtech and works quicker than many others

Re: T55 Enigma
Had to think long and hard about mounting the speaker. I usually make a speaker box to help project the sound but theres just nowhere for the sound to escape from and with the low profile of the T55 it wouldn't mount in the rear near the motors. So ive turned the interior into a sound box.
Ive mounted a grill in case of debris
The Visaton speaker cone is resin impregnated so should be water resistant, not that im planning on taking it wading
It also does wonders for stiffening up the chassisI'm manning the gun's ! Who's driving ?
Re: T55 Enigma
That’s very brave!
I used the dklm speaker box and got maxmekker to custom make a top for it so I could use a visaton speaker inside mine.
Good progress!

Re: T55 Enigma
The Enigma has a hinged front applique armour section to allow access to the drivers hatch
The whole design is a bit Heath Robinson, for the Armour to be moved to open the hatch a bolt has to be pulled by the commander or gunner from the outside
