Re: Quiet here ? 29/12/17 Challenger 1 build more pics
Hi Adam
No I don't think it will be a gulf war one ..
as I wanted to do as European theater .. ?
And I did not fancy scratching all the additional armour again

As always a super impressive use of styrene, that turret is about as complex as it gets. It's going to look the business when it's completed!

QUIET .........
All I have to add is a cursory "ya missed a bit" !! but I have no idea where
The difference I can make out between an F117 and your turret is wings.........or lack thereof..........
Never think silence is anything more than "shutting up & learning" , well not from me anyway .

Re: 01/01/18 turret detailing challenger 1
Hi all
As ever slow progress .. detail alays seem to take an age to make and fit
It'd some times surprise me how much fiddling ..cutting and glueing soaks up time it never feels, like I've done a lot ..until intake a few pics and realize ..what I've done
I've been adding tie downs .. making up the horrid front storage basket that I've had to over engineer to give it a bit of strength ..in the hip the when I add the tarpaulin covers
It looks a few whole lot better ?
Also been working on the hull a bit to back date to C1 .. lots of small details need to be removed and the added .. it's surprised me how the details differ form tank to tank
So I done more a generic fit out ...
It feels that a Thai is turning out to be bigger build that I first thought .. and as I move along with the build ...I find more and more to add or change .. not even look a the the hull rear plate yet .. that a mine field of its own.... oh well it a hooky and it's fun ..right ?
So a few pics and as usual
Comments welcome
Enjoy ....

Re: Challenger 1 more build pics 06/01/18
It's looking really good, dare I say it, way better than HL's original, much more interesting due to all of the detail. Your abilities with styrene really are exceptional. Keep the pics coming, I always check in even if I don't heap more praise on your work.
