Scratch build US Army "Scout" Armoured recon vehicle XM800 T
Re: Scratch build US Army "Scout" Armoured recon vehicle XM8
Hi,
Having a break from spraying my FV432/30 Bull dog so decided to make the multi position .50 cal gun mount, it slides around the gunners hatch on its ring mount, also moves up and down like a scissor jack and also pivots on the ring mount plus the .50 cal itself can svivel on the upper mounting.
A few pics in various positions.

Hi,
yep hopefully.
Decided to make some of the tools that are kept on the rear of the tank, so started with a shovel, from brass.

Yikes! Sub, your work is "museum quality," only better! I had missed this thread until now. I do agree with you about a lack of attention to contemporary AFVs. My problem is figuring out all the gizmos on the prototype AFVs. I wish there were a primer on all the electronics, etc. Regardless, yours is stunning skill.

Hi.
Been a while since i last updated this so...
Made a few more tools for the pioneer tank tool box.
A few pics of said tools, made from brass and wood and Mahoganny for the Axe.
A further pic where the rough positions will be on the rear deck.
Regards.

A little bit more done, started to make the front headlight and infared lamp surrounds, still to add convoy lights and direction indicators, just placed here to see what they look like.
