Challenger 2 build

Post by jstevens »

This build started as the Henglong Challenger its now got the DKLM metal hull the chobham amour from Forgebear and a lot of scratch building and painting by a friend whos ability to build and paint is far beyond anything I can do. The rear plate was scratch built we had a problem because the hull seemed to be a few millimetres to long. Its not complete yet the RWS needs sorting out lights and more detail adding..

I am sure I got them from my local model shop, and I think they are for the HPI carburettor, they are normally just called dust boots.. I will be seeing him tomorrow I will see if he as any in stock I would think they will be difficult to get at the moment same as everything else!
