No, the black pieces are all CNC machined aluminium. With the pushrod mounting tabs being so slender, you can't get away with plastic.
They look like CNC parts but better to ask. ;)

Been working on getting the barrel detailed. Combining Heng Long with Tamiya and Trumpeter parts. Turned out to be more that I had anticipated! 8O

I will have some pics to show by the weekend, I hope!!
