Where can I get some of these? Although I don't do much changing out from stock electronics, I do like to "neatify" wiring to avoid potential snags.
I get them through Princess Auto up here in Canada. Harbour Freight is a US equivalent... (Unknown if they have them...)
$9 CDN per 25 pcs. I use them on every Tank build I do for cable management.

Similar in the UK:

WOW!

Who would have thought after some of the things I've cobbled together for this build Headlights and Taillights would be so frigging difficult!

I have just about got them licked. I hope to have something to show in the next couple of days, weekend at least.

10 LEDs total, 2 in each Headlight and 3 in each Taillight.

They look really good BUT Just how accurate are they on a PZ4 or a Tiger 1?
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

LOL... I guess that depends on your detail accuracy on the inside of the tank :)

Are you using SMD LEDS? Seems to be the only way to squeeze in that many...

Don't forget that you can also use optical fibers ... In Abrams Tamiya the standard diodes ( i don't remember 3 or 5mm ) are under the armor, and in the lamp casings you have just a few optical fibers ...

Hi guys,

I am using Nano and Chip size SMDs.

Each Taillight has a White and a Red Nano for the Convoy and Combat Brake Light and a Red Chip for the main Taillight and Brake Light.

Each Headlight has one White Chip for the Combat Headlight and I'm still working on what size to use for the Main Headlight.

Headlights and Taillights all but painted.

I know I said the weekend but had a little with my camera card, all sorted out now.

First up are pics of the new taillight assemblies using the Tamiya parts and “T2M” simulated Crosspoint Screws that I used on the Headlights as well.

I really struggled with how to get these done but I am happy with the results even if it did take me months and months. 8O
The LEDs are a combination of Evans Designs and Motown Models.

TAFN, Thanks for looking in! :)
