Challenger 2

Post by Woz »

OK so I've had my Chally 2 for a month now so guess it's time to redo it.

No major mod's yet as I want to see what aftermarket kit come out (tracks wheels etc) so I'm just doing some cosmetic changes first.
Start with the front armour upgrade-

Where and when did you get the Challenger 2? Is it a HL tank (I think it is) and how much does it cost? I search the web that the Challenger is rather new and just released a few months ago. Some online videos show that it has very soft and deep suspension. How do you feel with it?

@ Aplha - I think it makes it look a bit meaner

@ SteelBird - There's plenty online if you're in the UK.

Been putting this off as I didn't want to chop up a new tank-

Looking very nice Woz. Where did you get the armour upgrades and what's the detail on thrm like? Are they resin? Heavy? Be interested to know the options.

Unfortunately, I'm 8,000 miles away from the UK. However, I just got my Leopard 2A6 a few days ago as I decide to go for big tank. Plenty of room inside, you can fit in whatever you want.

By the way, I notice your tank still have all plastic components. Are you going to upgrade them with metal ones?

@ Scrub Tanker - Theres four screws underneath. Two near the front and two at the back of the battery compartment.

@Crispy - They're test 3D prints for parts I put up on Shapeways

@SteelBird - I hope to add all the metal upgrade parts.
