Good Morning,
Looking great! Does Tamiya provide the periscope inserts for all of the scopes on this tank? The Commander's Scope looks pretty sweet with that one installed. ( or is that some sort of spot? )
regards,
Painless

Yea there is a full set of clear plastics for the various scopes and sights, but they won't be installed till after the camo has painted and sealed, saves me having to spend hours masking them off, the one shown in the pic was just test fitted for the pic :)

I've now finished the basic build

That's it for a few weeks while I save up for a half decent air brush and compressor

Yea the wiring was a little tricky, I've manage to get it so the turret top seats down well, but is still too messy for my liking so I'm planning to cut down the motor wiring and change the bulky spade connectors for 3.5mm bullets

Also I've managed to source the Tamiya Barrel Stabalizer kit for £60 from the US, so I need to make sure I have room for that, I'm guessing it fits on top of the barrel elevation servo??

To be honest id would avoid the the tamiya barrel elevation, it's quite slow to pickup movements. A submarine leveller (such as a subtec) would give you much better performance and cost less
