Adding machine gun

Post by MikeHamilton »

I have an IBU2U full for my King Tiger along with a 10 channel FlySky 16
The hull machine gun works absolutely fine.
However, I’d like to add a second independently controlled machine gun in the turret and using one of the spare trim buttons on the FlySky 16 to “fire” it.
Does any one know if this is possible and if so how do I go about doing it?

Thanks in anticipation.

One of the first questions I asked on the Forum was how to get an independently firing 2nd MG.
I am still waiting for a satisfactory answer :lolno:
It really comes down to the control board you are using,
My ASP2 allows me to use 2 MGs but other boards do not have provision for such action.
And of course there is no longer an ASP2 available or is there?
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Hi Mike, you could use a Dr. Mad thrust machine gun and sound unit combo which you could run from a spare channel on your receiver and operate from a switch on the radio, the only problem is these units are becoming hard to find now for some reason, you can get the led light effect unit but the sound unit and speaker which go with it are out of stock everywhere I look  I've got one on my Lrdg truck build as I only used a cheap truck sound unit and esc so they had no functions for an mg at all so this was the next best thing, the clip of it in action is half way down on the first page

Just wire a benedini to your existing setup. Like I did here:

Every sound is trigged individually.
