IBU2U servo elevation

Post by Pezzapoo »

Hi all

I have recently purchased 2 x servos to switch out recoil and elevation on a Taigen spring recoil Tiger1 turret.

The recoil works perfectly but I am puzzled as to what I'm missing to get the servo elevation motor to work?
I have the servo plugged into servo output 3rd from top left and it twitches slightly but nothing else?
anyone have experience with this?
much appreciated thx. pez

Hi,
take a look at the manual site 19 for Servo setup:

Load the sd card into your computer and look into the ini. Files. In your settings in the card it will show you servo parameters and settings. You may need to make some adjustments. You should be able to setup the servo limits and such.

Also, is the servo ok? Has it been tested as working properly?
Tanks alot....

I assume it's not plugged into the traverse servo port. Have you swapped servos just to make sure its ok?

Its not in the traverse port. It works when plugged into the recoil so motor is ok.
When I toggle elevation the servo just twitches

Hi Pez, just joined this group and wanted to know if you resolved your problem with the elevation as I have something very similar.

He has not been on the forum since June last year, so is uikely to see your post. If you would like to go to the Introduce Yourself thread and tell us a bit about yourself, and your tanks, you will get a warm welcome. Then feel free to tell aus about your tank problem and we will do our best to help. There is a wealth of knowledge and experience here
