I am trying to decide between the two MFUs. What is the difference?

Before we go into that, it’s customary to introduce Yourself in the ‘Introduce Yourself’ part of the forum. Otherwise there won’t be a whole lot of reactions.

1BU2U vs the IBU3

Google RC Tank Electronics, it’s all explained there.
The higher the number the higher the spec.
I use the IBU2U 8 channel version at around £150

Iubu3 is a multi function unit for tanks an other vehicles
Ibu2u same but has a servo elevation output
Guy on you tube talks about henglong and taigen mfu and to use a micro switch.if this is any help to you.on YouTube.
From happytank
Incorrect, ibu2ufo and ibu3 both have servo elevation, rotation and recoil.

To my mind the ibu3 is much more configurable, has better sound, smoother drive than the ibu2ufo, but I've not used an ibu2ufo since the firmware update.
