Ibu2 pro and Tamiya recoil problem

Post by Del »

Good afternoon
I'm hoping to pick your brains if I may.
I have plugged the Tamiya recoil unit into the ibu and the barrel recoils and returns constantly.All other functions work perfectly.
Is there a setting in the ibu or is the plug wired wrong.

Cheers

I had the same problem with two IBU2's and two different recoil units, never did sort it out, micro switch is not the problem.

I think is a recoil wiring problem, try to swap the outer wires letting the center wire where it is now.

Change the timings on the microSD card, it's something like

Tamiyarecoil=1500

Change to 300-500

Basically the timing also does the airsoft timing and as most customers use airsoft I send IBU out with default settings for airsoft.

After much head scratching it's now sorted,the Ibu is switching the polarity on the Tamiya unit spinning it backwards and because of the slop that causes in the unit because of the worm gear the micro switch isn't depressed fully.switch the polarity on the motor and alls good
