Last I heard was still some technical issues with some tank setups. So trying to sort them out and hopefully will work with every bodies tanks and various setup combinations.

I'm hoping it comes in a kit complete with servos etc so that everything is "standardized."

Reference to the GSU I emailed them in January and this was the email I got back

"Hello Darren,

GSU is currently under testing and is planned to be available during this year.

The module will be directly connected to IBU2 Ultimate expansion port.

We’re working to make it more friendly and affordable as possible.

The early version designed for IBU3 worked very well but the calibration (needed to fine tune on tank) was a little tricky and definitely not for basic users.

Also traverse and barrel elevation must be modified for servo use since the (poor) HL/Taigen stock gearboxes aren’t fast enough.

Best Regards

IBU Staff "

But will it also work on the IBU3?

From your answer and Tom, it seems the IBU3 is a dead end...

I've had confirmation that the upcoming GSU will also work on a IBU3, it just requires a pinout swap around.

Wondering if anyone has come across this error:
IBU3 Error.PNG
IBU3 Error.PNG (2.78 KiB) Viewed 4498 times
I can connect to the IBU3 over USB, configure all the settings and save to the board OK (including sounds) but every time the board goes into DFU mode (slow blinking LED after re-applying power) the PC does not see the serial port to complete the flash sequence.

It's on v11 and want to go up to v17 - using the IBU configurator 1004...

Have contacted Ian (Tankbear) and he thinks it’s trying to go from v0.11 direct to v0.17 - not so sure myself, so if anyone has any other bright ideas...

This time external ESC and brushless motor @)

Here's a quick video

For comparison left side is still using the DKLM 550 brushed motor, right is the brushless. This is on 3S LiPo and brushless ESC using default settings (need adjusting still), also tried 2S LiPo and the speed difference between the two motors is even bigger.
May I know how the brushless motors, ESCs and IBU3 are connected to other another?
