Hi Rob great find ,all you need is a pop up gazebo and camping chairs and tables ,gas cooker to make brews , maybe a generator for charging (but if your only doing the day might not be needed).The battle area looks outstanding hills small paths and low areas . Might be you will need a couple of bridgelayers to lay bridges across the hills . Take the high ground win the battle .

Ok guys, scout hut booked for Sunday 22nd. Might be the last meet of 2015, what with Christmas and New Year etc.

New members, curious individuals always welcome. :wave:
It's nice and warm, lots of heaters. :{
Coffee facilities - if I remember to take some and Andy doesn't forget the milk. :think:
Lots of Parking. :thumbup:

It's a good laugh, and I may even have the Leopard ARV running properly by then.... :shh:

Bring your own sandwiches, we aren't that generous.
Less than £10, we start at 10am, and pack up by 4pm.
Cheaper than Longleat!! :silent:

URGENT UPDATE

Due to last minute re-organisation by the scout group we will have to postpone the meet to the 29th November. It is totally out of our control, and a bit of nuisance but there is nothing that we can do about it.

Many apologies to anyone who had made plans to attend.

Regards

Just spent the day in the company of the Southern Armour chappies, along with their 1/6 scale KT, T34 and Tiger, I'd met two of them before but it was good to chat about events we had attended.

Also bought a 1/10? 6x6 truck which will become an army truck/rock crawler over the next few weeks... :clap:

I haven't had a Christmas present for about 30 years, lol, this was just a spur of the moment buy to see what I can build onto the chassis. I sit in his industrial unit drinking coffee and looking around and keep wondering why I haven't come up on the lottery. I would empty the place if I did. :P
