Does it have a green carpet, a lake, and an outdoor battlefield? :D

These are the software items I was blathering on about that can be used to create human figures,

http://www.makehuman.org/

http://pixologic.com/sculptris/

and if the STL file can be imported into Cura as a solid object with no holes it can be printed.

https://ultimaker.com/en/products/cura-software

Apparently the arms and legs can be moved in Blender, and problems with the mesh fixed in Meshmixer.

https://www.blender.org/

http://www.meshmixer.com/

I had no luck at all, using Makehuman, with Netfabb to repair the file, but if anyone else is up to the challenge... :/

Just to add that I timed Templecombe to Evercreech, it was 15 mins. The whole journey from Templecombe to my place is an hour on a good day.

From Haynes Motor Museum to Evercreech is probably about 5 mins.

At the last meeting Rob gave me a small bag, containing, amongst other things, a selection of 3D printed heads and a couple of figures, of differing sizes, for me to have a go at. This is the larger of the 2 figures. I am reliably informed it is intended to be the WW2 Dr Who, played by John Hurt. The way I've painted it, it looks nothing like him.

I'm hoping that someone among you may draw some inspiration from this and find their way to design and/or print some figures. We need a British artillery crew for Rob's big gun. I am very happy to paint them. The figures would need to be between 105 mm and 117 mm.

Great effort!
I have just bought a truck that I want to paint as a usa lumber for your arty gun.
Does anyone have 4 or 5 american star transfers that I could have?
Cheers

Unfortunately I don't have any, what I do is cut a template out of decorators masking tape, and then stipple off white paint on. White is too white, but off white usually looks ok. You could use white with a drop of black just to take the edge off. The advantage with doing it this way is that you don't get a decal 'edge' on the star, and it will be nice and matt as well.
