I'm trying to upgrade the suspension on my panzer III to metal. But I can't figure out how to remove the wheels from the plastic suspension arms.
Do they come apart somehow?

Re: Panzer III - Remove Wheel from Suspension Help
If this hull is the standard Heng Long hull the center cap of the wheel if moved should expose the screw head, the wheels are retained with a self threading screw.

Re: Panzer III - Remove Wheel from Suspension Help
pm sent, Cliff describes the Panzer III completely disassembled with photos, I'm sure after reviewing this link he will answer your question directly.
The caps could be removed using thread to cut the seem, but Cliff has first hand experience with this tank I do not have. I was attempting to direct you to forum information links that describe the wheel removal.

Re: Panzer III - Remove Wheel from Suspension Help
thanks for your help.
I contacted Forgebear and the wheels separate and are held together with a little glue.

Got the correct screws, head broke off in the suspension arm
Tried to removed but screw metal seems to be stronger than the arm (mm cheese)!
I'm thinking the suspension upgrade is a waste of time & money.

Put some heat to the 2 parts . that will aid you removing the 2. If access is tight use a soldering iron, if not use a heat gun.
