T34 recoil Issue

Post by TankyTankyCharl »

Hi

I’m having an issue with the recoil sound and light not going off on my 1/16 scale T34 and wondered if anyone has one and knows which wire is the one that works these to see if mine is loose. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Greetings,

I am not the one to answer your question but they are here.

First who is the manufacture of your T34?

Have you open the tank and visually verified that all connectors are secure?

A slight tug on each wire will help ensure that all wires are secured in each connector.

:) Good evening, what is the type of barrel recoil system, Tir BB or Asiatam, Heng Long, Taigen or Tamiya?

It's probably the Asiatam unit then. Sorry can't help there as I've removed all of those from my tanks.

I confirm, try to shoot the barrel (gently) at the same time as the command on TX, if nothing happens? it will be necessary to open the turret, to put the pinion concerned back in line. Another question, batteries of the tank well charged? TX batteries also OK?

Good afternoon,
If it is the Asiatam unit, the micro switch not being triggered is your first port of call. I did a pull apart and fix on the one mounted in an early War PzIV that had the same symptoms. If the barrel has no catch points in the recoil slide portion then look at the Asiatam, slide and rotation unit and ensure sufficient play in all the components. Here is a link to the fix that I performed: viewtopic.php?f=33&t=30683&start=20
regards and Good Luck!

Hi thanks for your messages. I’m not really sure. I’ve attached two pictures for what the inside of my tank looks like.

the reversing system is white, surrounded by red, check that this is not blocked? on the right there is a small micro switch, with a thick black or red wire (depending on the wishes of Chinese children! and a small yellow wire that goes to the yellow motor, remove (delicately) :O the spring and check that the part slides well and pinion below not blocked !!!!
