ludwig firefly ??? help
Hi Lads has anyone made the ludwig fire fly??? or do anyone know what bottom hull is needed , would it be a HL or Taigen ? thanks lads glen . P.S does anyone have ludwigs email? i dont have outlook only talktalk.

Going by the pictures on his web site its not his own make Firefly its the DSG Resin Firefly Conversion Kit which uses the HL lower hull

As John pointed out, the Firefly conversion offered there is the DSG one. Some mount it on an HL or Taigen plastic hull ('stretched' to M4A4 dimensions). The Stretched hull requires a lot of plastic surgery. However, it is possible to mount it on the M4A3 hull, but this will mean altering the glacis plate angle, as well as swapping out the engine deck for the M4A1 type.

If you're interested, this is my build thread for an M4 Ic (Welded) version of the Firefly. Much of it was scratch-built, but significant elements of Dean's resin kit (DSG) were also used. The hull began life as an HL M4A3.
