Jagdpanzer IV/70(V) Lang Sd.Kfz.162/1

Post by BarryC »

Hi Folks,

Has anyone here built a Jagdpanzer IV/70(V) Lang Sd.Kfz.162/1?
I really like the tank and would like to scratch build one on a Taigen or HL PZ. IV lower.

It does not look to daunting except for the Mantlet and Gun Shield. I was looking at Ludwig's Hetzer Mantlet and Gun Shield. Anyone know if the Jagdpanzer and Hetzer are the same size or close?

I have considered the Tamiya kit but only "if" I can't come up with a solid plan for the Mantlet and Gun Shield.

TIA,
Barry

Ludwig's does a Jagdpanzer Iv it's possible he uses the same mantle and gun shield on his Hetzer, E25 and Jagdpanzer iv

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction!

Hi Tom,

Did you use the Ludwigs kit for the main body?

You can download the manual from ludwig's to see what the build entails
