It would help if you explain what you're trying to do. Are you trying to upgrade a Torro Tiger to a V3 Taigen setup, for example? It would also help if you showed the whole upper hull, and lower hull, wiring arrangements.
Generally, there's no obvious difference between Taigen and Torro, since they appear to be the same company. Did you not get a wiring diagram with the V3 unit? Like one of these, for instance:
https://www.taigentanks.com/collections ... rd-speaker.
One of the five-pin connectors will go in the IR port on the MFU. If you trace the wires (by colour) back to their points of origin (e.g. Gun microswitch, rotation unit, elevation unit etc.,), and then compare them with the designated slots on the V3 board (as per Taigen's instructions), you'll have a good idea of what goes where.

Here's somewhere to get the pdf for the Torro Tiger 1 (in German and English). It'll wise you up on the charging port at the rear, and more besides. There's also a connection guide. However, wiring is different on early
Taigen/Torro V1 and V2 Tigers, to that of the V3 models.

the 8 pin connector controls rotation, elevation, recoil/airsoft and lights.

Rotation and lights are likely hard soldered to the upper hull 8 pin PCB. The three pin connection on the upper hull PCB that I kinda see in the images is usually elevation and recoil/airsoft.

The basic output functionconnections between V1 and V2 are the same.

If you have the 3 pin connector reversed, you will have elevation but not recoil.
See bottom of the above image for the upper hull pcb.

Sorry. lotsa posts to answer. In image 2 you look to be trying to show the High Intensity Flash LED unit (Blurred in the image and above the two connectors.) That is usually stuffed down the gun barrel until that end is slightly visible from the side (or inside the muzzle brake if it has one.

Hello
Thanks for all your replies, I bought a basket case with a lot of missing or broken parts. I have ordered Taigen Metal Suspension Arms, I used the V3 from my Taigen to test the Torro parts, the gear boxes are fine as is the turret rotation but there is damage and missing parts to the recoil unit. Can I buy a recoil unit ?
Thanks again
Frank

Hello, here is a picture of the wiring diagram between the board and the 8-pin socket, in principle the colors shown are those of the 8-wire cord, I don't know if you will help ???
