What are these holes for? Tamiya Tiger 1.

Can someone tell me what these are for please?

The Tiger 1 had a hand operated hoist which was stored inside the Tank and it slotted into the hole you have noted.
The hoist had a multitude of uses.
Search through all the Tiger 1 upgrades on the web and you are bound to find one for sale.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:
