Tank 818 identification
This tank has steel tracks and “sprockets” I don’t know if that’s the right term for it or not

Re: Tank 818 identification
It is an early Heng Long Tiger1,
Easy to identify as an early production 27 Mhz model because the first year or two Heng Long were selling the Tiger with the Main Gun Mantlet reversed
Pretty easy to turn it through 180 degrees
Also the cupola needs removing and after cutting off the cupola locating pin replacing the cupola with a viewing slot facing directly forward and the hatch hinge at the 20 to 8 position looking from front to back,
Yet another easy fix

Poor old thing, almost a sad type of collectors item now !!
As well as the mantlet reversed, the barrel is in full recoil.
Add that to the museum grade electronics..........

Is the metal tracks something that would have came standard or is that a upgrade the owner did?

Re: Tank 818 identification
Metal tracks are usually an extra cost option from Heng Long/Taigen which usually includes a pair of steel gearboxes and metal wheels, sprockets and idlers as well as opening drivers and radio operators hatches but of course all of these extras could have been retro-fitted by the owner at a later date.
