It would appear that I have stripped the thread on my Panther's rear idler. Does anyone have a quick fix as the rear wheel comes off under any pressure.

Re: Torro Panther Track Adjuster Problem
Morning. The shaft seems to be somewhat short on the idler.

2x early Tiger 1's made from parts of HL, Taigen, Mato and whatever I saw suitable.

Re: Torro Panther Track Adjuster Problem
It does look short but it still fits in the swing arm in full. The grub screw however just turns and you can easily pull the wheel off.
Re: Torro Panther Track Adjuster Problem
You can order a new set of swing arms. I’m sure you know it.
You could also do a thread for a bigger set screw. Must have a tool for that. I hope there is enough room for a bigger screw.
I would just order new arms.

Also pay attention to the alignment of the idlers. If they are not 100% parallel but are facing inward you need to replace the entire tensioner or install a different one.

Re: Torro Panther Track Adjuster Problem
Have you tried another allen key? Sometimes the keys get rounded off and just dont tighten.
Re: Torro Panther Track Adjuster Problem
Are the Tiger ones that same? I don't have a Tiger compare with the Panther?RenoirLV wrote:You can order a new set of swing arms. I’m sure you know it.
