How to get 1/16 Tamiya King Tiger decals
Hey I am looking for a sheet of decals for the 1/16 Tamiya King Tiger Porsche kit from the 90s. Anyone have any suggestions?

Can we assume you have already checked eBay? That's where I get most of my decals.

When FDR coined the phrase "The Arsenal of Democracy", he was talking about Detroit. Proud to live in the 2nd most violent city in America!!

Not the right ones for a Porsche turret King Tiger but Peddinghaus makes them. My only concern is that l find their decals to be difficult to blend in with the tanks surface finish. I use all the mainstream decal softening and bonding products but the thicker Peddinghaus examples still seem to resist.
I've recently taken to using the custom ones produced for Forgebear as they soften and bond easily but are plenty strong enough for pressing into matt surfaces. If you send Dave a photo of one you want to model he'll probably be able to find what you need. I understand he's not very busy so he won't mind.

Some of their decals are ok but that set is crap. The font is wrong, numbers are the wrong color ect.Jofaur86 wrote:Hello

I wonder if they are really worth $120? If they aren't available anywhere else....

Why not give stencils or masks a try. I think that looks best on zimmerit surfaces and provide the most prototypical appearance. Give Rad a shoutout.
