Gentlemen I am told the mantlet is almost ready and will be available for standard hl recoil units or air soft as well as servo recoil units. Photo will be posted when I go and fetch mine

Looks good. Beats trying to carve it from stock plastic.
Might just need to take the edges off it to finish it off.

Need a bit of a sand to reduce the print lines and the screws putting in but otherwise turret almost done

I did not mr gunner I cut it off and old Tamiya top I bought and cut the air ducts off some time back. It’s not exact but it looked a closer match than the turret vents.
I don’t really rate Tamiya as a whole but they are good for cutting bits from if you can get it cheap enough

Ah, ok, thanks for that. At least I know there wasn't a part missing.
That part must come on a Tamiya Sherman sprue, I must check to see if I have them.

Oh, are you talking about cutting this detail out of the hull (centre of picture).
