DAK figures

Post by Afrikakorps »

Hi,
I have been looking around on various sites but cannot find any Africa Korps figures for a tank.
In particular I am after a tank commander in 1/16 scale.
Any help would be appreciated. :)
Cheers

Tamiya had an "Early Tiger I" kit that had the mantlet, exhaust guards, and tank commander in short sleeves that was suitable for the Afrika Korps. It's been awhile since that kit has been on the market, so probably the sprues with those parts are hard to find. I hope that someone who has built that kit and not used the figure for his build will contact you.

My Panzer III is Afrika Korps. I found a commander for it. It was back in 2017. I am fairly certain it came from Germany, more than I can't remember . It is a metal casting.

Edit: I have tracked it down. It came from Rctank.de. Unfortunately it does not appear to be listed anymore.

There is another german shop: " WWW.JAGDPANZER.NET " . But they have only one tanker from Afrika Corps. It`s from Tamiya.

Sadly they can't take orders now, and they are not responding to emails :(
