I've wanted to build an RSO for some time and happened upon this really nice metal chassis version that unfortunately states is out of stock.

I see Vandra has a resin kit that is based on an Arduino plastic tank chassis that will need much work to make right.

Here is the link. Looks like they also had a very nice trailer kit too.

Does anyone know more about this kit?

When I saw the photograph of the RSO I went to my reference books certain that I had seen that wheel layout before,
Sure enough the Panzer 1 (LKB1 variant) complete with just 4 road wheels unlike the usual PZ1 5 road wheel set up, as well as front sprockets and rear idlers,
Both the PZ1 and 2 hull, suspension and running gear were pretty much work in progress throughout their service life.
It would be interesting to know the overall length and width of the RSO Hull for comparison.

As a model here, it's fresh and new- and certainly unusual. As for the gunner, sadly, it looks as if he forgot to duck (tauche)! :D

Or perhaps due to the noise of the engine and weapon he did not hear the shout "INCOMING" :'(
