It might be simpler just to get the Asiatam kit, Ronnie. Then again, you might try to make your own setup from the pics on the Asiatam website.

I've just fitted a set to my Panther F, resin cast from the US. No assembly instructions or picture guide but after a while Googling l found enough pictures to assemble it correctly! It must have made the commander's hatch a bit cramped but if overworked then it must have given them a useful edge. The unit is fixed to the same positioning card as the figure so both are easily removed to fit the IR apple.ImageImageImage

General Jumbo Have you a good pic of the unit attached to the hatch, was that unit not for the G. The F has a mg post fitting in the forward position giving more space as it sits further forward ( a german site says that the F was designed for IR use).

The mount is circular and just a thin blade si it doesn't intrude but leans out forward. I have actually refitted it since the photo and given the commander more space.

There are a few photos of the unit mounted on an F and they look the same but, since the F never became operational you can't be sure who fitted the unit, why or when! Looks interesting anyway ;)
