But surely washing dishes in the local watering hole opens all sorts of attractive opportunities

Yes, John, it's always handy to have those extra servo options, whether they're used or not. Considering the Haya unit is much the same price as the HL 6.0, it would make more sense to buy it, given that it's based on the 6.1. A false economy not to, in fact.john1970 wrote:I would go for the 6.1 board or the Haya 6.3 which is the same but with different handset. They would give you the option of servo recoil and elevation instead of trying to get the tamiya units to work
However, I bought a V6.0 package before Andrew's product appeared on the market. Still, if I buy his 6.1/.3, I've several other tanks that could benefit from an upgrade from those awful older, chugging, non-proportional, and clonking units.

Astonishing Buy a bunch, and give 'em out for Christmas Or, if in Scrooge mode, put them on Ebay for a fast return

Don't forget if you buy one to upgrade another Tank you will need an upgraded Daughter Board as well,
Both Dave and Dom carry them in their stock.

The board in the body that takes the turret rotation motor and the lights and the hull mg as well as the main gun and via the 8 pin cable carries all that information to the mfu, the latest daughter board has been redesigned as well as now being all socket.
