Soviet Milatary Red Stars.

Post by jarndice »

Can anyone point me in the direction of a sheet of Soviet Military Red Stars and if possible registration plates in 1/16 decals.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

There's a brace of them (stars, that is) on this somewhat pricey offering from rctank, Shaun:

...and a useful looking Schumo stencil offering here at Welshdragon. Ok, it's not a sheet of stars, but at least the stencil is reusable

Thank you Roy,
Peddinghaus have a number of "Tank" specific decal sheets which include a number of Red Stars of various sizes but because they are so specific they are not really suitable for decking out a truck, (Tailgate/Doors/Bonnet-Hood ).And if I can get Cyrillic inscriptions I would rather they said open -close/here etc rather than "Death to the Fascist dogs". :lolno:

I do paint masks under request but nobody remembers me, sniff.

All the numbers you see in my tanks, are painted with my home made paint masks.

Perhaps if you mentioned that on your website people would ask for them :haha: But if you could give me a quote for a Paint Mask of Stars for a JJRC Q60 Truck, including small ones for both doors, A bigger one for the tailgate and a medium size one for the bonnet-hood, Number plates would be a great extra.

Lol, I mentioned it a lot of times on my builds, and also in my battlefield/buildings thread there are a good bunch of examples. But I do agree with you that it deserves an entry, I will try to write one soon.

Tell me the size of the stars in milimeters and Ill tell you!

12mmsX12mms/2cmsX2cms (20mmsX20mms )/3cmsX3cms (30mmsX30mms).
Studying builds is often where I get the idea for buying something it is not usually the place I do the actual shopping :haha:
