HENG LONG PZ4 Body.

Post by jarndice »

Does anyone know if Heng Long are still making Panzer 4 Bodies ?
I ask because whenever I look all I ever find are the Taigen ones and no they are not the same.
Heng Long stopped moulding tools and fittings to their Tank body's some years ago, they now come on a separate sprue unlike Taigen who still mould everything to the vehicle.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Why don't we all write to Taigen about this move? We are their customers and sole source of income!

Not necessarily so, The first Heng Long bodies without moulded on tools and fittings had them as pop off fittings so that they could be simply lifted off rather than having to be scraped off.
It was only later that the tools came on a separate sprue/s and of course you might have been sold old stock.

Easiest way to tell, assuming it hasn't been modified, is to pop it open and check the mfu, or just the transmitter! That will date it.
