Hooben T55

Post by ronnie42 »

Thinking about a T55 early or late version, is the new T55 kit from Hooben much better than the old one? Built a couple of 1/35 tanks to help me decide.

New one is much better, although you still need a host of extras to make it run beautifully.

Thanks for the build info, have looked for tracks and metal road wheels . Tracks are expensive £ 170 plus and can't find metal road wheels. If i cant find cheaper ones a change of tank is on the cards . Trumpeter T 72 and a HL T 72/90 base with metal tracks , better option price wise . HL battery case chopped out and an alloy sheet cut to size sorts out any flex in the hull.
