Still struggling with this one guys
I ordered new I.r emitter bulb from Rc tank electronics. Still nothing from the new emitter when I fire the main gun. I also tried plugging everything into my other Tamiya tank but still don’t get anything from the emitter. Really stumped now. Any one got any ideas where I might be going wrong, it just seems so unlikely that the main part of the battle system works ok but not the emitter?

Tamiya battle system emitter
Have you checked if there is any current getting to the emitter or coming out of the battle unit where the emitter plugs in, if no current put a complaint in for your money back.

Re: Tamiya battle system emitter
Tried reversing the plug and still nothing. The eBay seller has said that I can send it back so no worries there but just seems to me that the fix must be so dimple only want to send it back as a last resort. What I dont understand is that the emitter plugs into a separate 2 pin socket on the Tamiya mfu so if there was a problem
With the battle unit would that still cause the emitter not to fire? Seems that they are not connected. Someone mentioned before that the emitter would not fire if the battle unit was not plugged in so if that is correct and my battle unit is faulty then possibly that is the reason the emitter does not fire?
