Has anyone worked out out the IR beam angle for the standard setup? I might use a lazer to see the kill angle error . Would converting the tube to a longer cone with a 1or 2mm exit hole improve the accuracy to the average lenght of a tank?

A bonus if this works you can use the gunner sight without drilling a bigger hole.

Eastern Front That looks good , has anyone drilled a 1 or 2 mm hole in the LED then pushed a fibre optic cable in . Does the paint block the IR beam without fitting a tube, how many coats of paint?. This way beats making a cone, easy to fit in gunners sight.
