Ordering from shapeways.
Hello chaps.
I want to place an order from shapeways.
But I'm not sure about a couple of things.
Apparently there is a set shipping cost. Therefore, does it matter if I put items in my basket from multiple vendors, will I still get the one charge?
And secondly, I can't seem to spot payment methods, I'm guessing this will show up when I go to checkout.
Does shapeways accept PayPal?
Thanks.
Mick.

Re: Ordering from shapeways.
As far as I know, shapeways is only one vendor. People uploads their designs there, and shapeways makes and ships them. Then the designers gets some dough.
I might be absolutelly wrong, but thats what I have heard.

I had an idea it was like that, and with it having a basket system, it does make it appear so.Rad_Schuhart wrote:As far as I know, shapeways is only one vendor. People uploads their designs there, and shapeways makes and ships them. Then the designers gets some dough.

I just need to know if I can use PayPal, then I'll be happy.

Hello Mick
I purchased several items and they charged me P&P costs as one vendor. Yes they accept Paypal.
Quality is excellent, delivery terms are ok and communication is excellent as well. Hope this helps

Re: Ordering from shapeways.
I've been ordering for years tons of stuff from SW and never had a problem, communication is pretty good and reactive.
Since SW is only a printing plateform, you can of course order in one single batch various components from several designers.
This will make only one invoice, one single shipmment.
Please note that the shipment costs are pretty pricey but service by UPS is also pretty good.
Paypal is of course your favorite choice to pay SW, also a very good service for years with me.
Hope this helps.
