They wouldn't be, Mato only do VVSS, which are narrower tracks. Unless you're saying they have now started doing HVSS?Xiaoshan_Sailor wrote:Couldn't even confirm if they are compatible for Mato sprockets.

The drive sprockets also have an odd shape socket (not HL or Tamiya) so can't swap to HL Pershing tracks either.

The Mato plastic ones are something like a 7mm shaft. But Mato do metal ones that fit Heng Long, but again, wrong type of track. Not sure if the tooth spacing is the same, if it was, one could make the sprockets wider.RobW wrote:The drive sprockets also have an odd shape socket (not HL or Tamiya) so can't swap to HL Pershing tracks either.

Re: Hooben M4A3E8
Tooth spacing & pitch looks identical to the Mato sprockets I have but I haven't yet tried a test fit knowing the shaft is different. Will look at tomorrow to see what can be done, if anything. What I don't understand is why over a year since release they still don't these upgrades. Zinc tooling is easy, quick & relatively cheap to do here - takes about a month at most.
BTW, track pricing is higher than IMPACT's so have no clue who they think they are selling to besides a captive audience.
