I'm in the same boat. You can use google pictures but sharing to a website is a huge pain. You can always use the native uploaded on here but you'll need to resize photos.

I'd like to find an answer to this question myself. I can still post video but posting photos has become almost impossible for a computer dummy like me. If anyone finds an easy to use site to take the place of photobucket you'll be my hero for at least 20 minutes! @) @) @)

Thats my test. I've downloaded an app called photo and picture resizer. That lets you batch resize photos. Then you can upload them here. Takes slightly long than photo bucket but I can love with that.

But with the app can you do photos from anywhere besides your phone? Can we get something like that for a PC with Windows 7? I've got some decent cameras and would really like to be able to post photos here again. Especially now that I'm getting so close to doing the detail work on the Hetzer. Video is OK, but still photos are so much better when you need help and want guys to clearly see what you're talkin' 'bout.

Hi Ian, I always use tapatalk to upload pics to the site from my android phone, you can crop pics or change anything else with them that you like on your phone then just upload them straight from your phone to the site using the tapatalk app, it's the only thing I use to upload photos

Cheers, Lee.

My problem is that I don't take many photos with my phone, I use a Cannon T5 Camera that takes much better photos than my phone, so when they killed PB they really screwed me.

I'm wondering what, if any, effect this has had on PB and their business. I don't know of one single person that was happy when they hijacked all those photos from forums and blogs. Makes me wonder if PB is losing business as a result.

I never look at Android Apps, and rarely use Microsoft apps these days, as my digital world is exclusively Mac based, but would this app be of any use?
http://www.apkmonk.com/app/com.simplemo ... toresizer/
The tool Tom used produced a good result, but I'm not aware of the platform he uses it on.. :problem:
Another link to similar tools:

However, there's no indication of whether they'd allow you to upload pics here directly. That would require a bit of extra digging.

I recently resized and uploaded pics from a friend's Windows 10 based laptop, Gary, using the standard Photo and image editing apps that come with it. It's a more clunky process than using 'Photos' +'Preview' in mac OS, but it's essentially the same. I imagine Windows 7 has the same basic provision.

That's a good how-to, I'll have to give it a try sometime soon. Thanks, Jake.
